Johnny English Strikes Again is a 2022 action spy one-act film directed by David Kerr.[five] Information technology is the sequel to Johnny English language Reborn (2011) and is the third instalment of the Johnny English serial. They arrive at the Hotel Magnifique in Antibes, where the cyber attack originated. While English meets her at the hotel bar, Bough discovers she is a spy, but English rejects his suspicions. Attempting to kill him, she fails afterward he takes a pill making him hyperactive.
Farther cyber attacks force the Prime Government minister to solidify an understanding with Silicon Valley billionaire Jason Volta, to be revealed during a forthcoming G12 coming together.
Learning Volta owns the Dot Calm, and suspecting he is behind the cyber attack, English and Bough return dwelling. Seeking proof, they must infiltrate Volta'southward mansion. In preparation, English is given a virtual reality exploration of the edifice. However, he unintentionally leaves the simulation room, assaulting various people whilst in the virtual environs (including battering the manager of a local buffet with two baguettes, and commandeering an open-top double-decker by pushing the bout guide off the meridian deck).
Arriving at the mansion, English discovers Bhuletova is besides a spy. He records evidence of Volta'south plans with her iPhone, just is exposed when hitting a push, playing a song instead. English language escapes, hijacking a driving instructor's car, returning to MI7 afterward being chased past Volta. Withal, he mixes upwardly iPhones with the driving pupil, so fails to convince MI7 and the Prime Government minister of Volta'southward schemes. When Volta mocks English's inability to employ digital engineering science, he uses the tablet to knock Volta out, then smashes his phone with a sword to stop the attack. The Prime Minister praises and forgives English for his attitude, who accidentally disrobes earlier the press and G12 leaders while removing the armor.

In May 2017, it was announced that Rowan Atkinson would exist returning to take the role of Johnny English in the sequel to the film Johnny English Reborn (2011).[eleven] On 3 August 2017, Working Title Films announced that they had begun production and filming with the manager David Kerr.[6] [12] The cinematographer is Florian Hoffmeister. This is the second spy film starring both Rowan Atkinson and Edward Fox, who appears in a minor office as the retired Agent Nine (Atkinson and Fox had both appeared earlier in the 1983 non-Eon James Bond pic Never Say Never Once more).
The production designer is Simon Bowles, who won an award for his designs for this movie at the 2022 British Motion-picture show Designers Social club Awards, shared with set decorator Liz Griffiths and supervising fine art director Ben Collins.
